The Departments of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Mechanical Engineering (MECH), Agricultural and Civil Engineering (AGRI & CIVIL), and Biomedical Engineering (BME) jointly organized Industrial Visits for students during the odd semester of the academic year 2025-26
Students of CSE and AI&DS visited [Company Name – V-Dart, Trichy]. They learned about software development life cycles, data centers, cybersecurity systems, and AI-based applications. The interaction with industry experts helped students understand current industry trends and career opportunities in IT and software sectors.
The students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sri Ramakrishna College of Engineering, visited Tiruchirappalli Engineering and Technology Cluster (TREAT) as part of their industrial visit. TREAT, established in 2014, is a Section 8 Company (Not for Profit) with funding support from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT). It houses high-precision heavy engineering machining facilities and pre-processing facilities under one roof at Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The center is located at P2, adjacent to GK Industrial Park, Reddimangudi Village, Siruganoor, Lalgudi Taluk, Trichy – 621 105.
