Admission Overview

Sri Ramakrishna College of Engineering offers Undergraduate (B.E / B.Tech) programmes approved by AICTE and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. Admissions are open for students from Tamil Nadu and other states who meet eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Admission to B.E / B.Tech programmes is based on marks obtained in the Higher Secondary (10+2 / HSC) examination.

Minimum Eligibility (As per AICTE Norms)

Candidates must have passed HSC / +2 / equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following subjects:

Note

  • Students from other states will be considered under OC category only.
  • Any future changes by AICTE / Anna University will be updated accordingly.

Documents Required

Students must submit the following during admission:

Originals

  • 10th Mark Sheet
  • 12th / HSC Mark Sheet
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Migration Certificate (for CBSE / Other State)
  • Passport-size Photographs – 6 Nos
  • Aadhaar Card (Copy)

Photocopies

  • Parent’s ID proof
  • Ration Card / Residential Proof
  • Nativity Certificate (if required)

All documents must be submitted for final admission approval.

Admission Procedure

SRCE offers admissions through two channels:

Government Quota (TNEA Counselling)

  • Students must register on the TNEA portal (run by Tamil Nadu Government).
  • Based on cut-off marks and counselling rounds, seats will be allocated.

Management Quota (Direct Admission at SRCE)

Students can apply directly to the college for management seats.
